ISE Department co-organised 5th ICQR held in Chiangmai, Thailand

 

The 5th International Conference on Quality and Reliability was successfully held on 5 - 7 November, 2007, in Chiangmai , Thailand . The Industrial Engineering Department at Thammasat University was the host, and the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore was one of the co-organizers.

 

Professor TN Goh delivered a keynote speech on "Quality and Reliability by Design - How to Get Real" and Prof M Xie served as the Program Co-chair of this conference. Several NUS faculty members and students attended this conference (photo) and presented their papers.

 

The objective of the ICQR Conference is to provide a forum for academics and practitioners from around the world to share the results of recent research efforts, visions and experiences in the field of quality and reliability. In the conference proceedings, 83 papers representing 25 countries are included. The next conference is tentatively scheduled to be in July 2009 and will be hosted by University of Cape Town, South Africa.
