The Asian Network for Quality conducts an annual international symposium for the presentation of research and development in the philosophy, theory, methodology, and application of quality. The theme for this year's symposium is "Quality: Agile Strategy in Asian Network." This event brought together quality professionals from the Asian regions to share their experiences with experts in the field of quality management.

Tan Kay Chuan (A/Prof) and Nachimuthu Sangeetha (Research Engineer) won the best paper award at the symposium. Their paper is entitled "An Overview of Quality-related Awards in Singapore."
