Students are ALLOWED to read the following Physics modules to fulfill the ULR-Breadth/UEM Level-1000 Physics Module requirement:

PC1141 Physics I
PC1142 Physics II
PC1143 Physics III
PC1144 Physics IV
PC1431 Physics IE (only if this module is not your 1st Physics Level-1000 requirement as stipulated by your department)
PC1432 Physics IIE (only if this module is not your 1st Physics Level-1000 requirement as stipulated by your department)

Students are NOT ALLOWED to read the following Physics modules, which are considered as bridging (A-level equivalent) or cross-listed as GEM modules, to fulfill the ULR-Breadth/UEM Level-1000 Physics Module requirement:

PC1221 Fundamentals of Physics I
PC1222 Fundamentals of Physics II
PC1321/GEK1509 Introduction to Nanoworld
PC1322/GEK1520 Understanding the Universe
PC1323/GEK1510 Great Ideas in Contemporary Physics
PC1325/GEK1508 Einstein’s University & Quantum Weirdness
PC1326/GEK1521 Physics in the Life Sciences
PC1327/GEK1519 Science of Music

Example: PC1325 cross-listed as GEK1508
If a student has bidded and read GEK1508, he/she can use the module to fulfill the GEM requirement. The student will need to read one of the approved PC1xxx modules to fulfill the ULR-Breadth/UEM Level-1000 Physics module requirement.
If a student has bidded and read PC1325, he/she can use the module to fulfill the Breadth or UEM requirement but CANNOT use it to fulfill the Physics Level-1000 requirement. The student will need to read one of the approved PC1xxx modules to fulfill the ULR-Breadth/UEM Level-1000 Physics module requirement
