Tenure Track Asst/Assoc/Full Professor Positions in Human Factors Engineering

 

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore is searching for outstanding Ph.D. degree holders, particularly those who have established international standing in areas related to Human Factors Engineering for its faculty. Individuals with the potential for or have a distinguished record of academic and research leadership, external funding and service contributions, are encouraged to apply for tenure track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor.

 

Opportunities to seek research funding from various sources are available. The ability to teach courses related to current developments in Human Factors and related areas at both undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Ph.D. degree holders whose specializations do not fall directly in such areas but feel that they can contribute to the Department are also encouraged to apply.

 

Application package should include: Curriculum Vitae, a list of scholarly publications, copies of 3 recent publications; statement of teaching and research interests; a list of three to five referees. For Associate Professor and Professorial positions, a statement of major accomplishments in research should be included, citing up to five significant publications; description of other scholarly contributions and explanation of their significance are required. Sample copies of these contributions may be provided (in the case of books, reviews may be provided). Where possible, include citation (excluding self-citations) and impact analysis of research output, highlighting papers with the highest citation counts and creative works with high impact. Softcopies of educational certificates and transcripts may be included in the e-mail. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
