NUS-ShMU-ZPMC team wins US$1 million in the Next Generation Container Port(NGCP) Challenge
The concept SingaPORT (Sustainable Integrated Next Generation Advanced Port) is the brainchild of the winning team, led by Assoc Prof Chew Ek Peng and Assoc Prof Lee Loo Hay from Industrial and Systems Engineering and comprise of multidisciplinary team from Industrial and Systems Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering and Centre for Maritime Studies, together with Shanghai Maritime University (ShMU) and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company (ZPMC).
