New appointments in ISE

The Department is pleased to announce the following new appointments with effect from 1 January 2008:

Associate Professor Tang Loon Ching has been appointed the Head of ISE Department. He will lead the department in its next phase of growth and development.
Associate Professor Chew Ek Peng has been appointed the Deputy Head (Administration and Resources). He will oversee the administrative functions of the department and manage all laboratories.

Professor Xie Min has been appointed the Deputy Head (Graduate Studies and Research). He will oversee the graduate and research programs including MEng, PhD and MSc programs.

Dr. Yap Chee Meng has been appointed the Deputy Head (Undergraduate Studies). He will oversee the BEng and BTech programs.

We would like to thank Professor Ang Beng Wah for his invaluable contributions and service during his term of appointment as Head of Department which ended on 31 December 2007.
