ISE bided farewell to one of our longest-serving staff in the Department, Mr K. Sivalingam. Siva will be retiring at the end of November 2003 after serving the University for 31 yrs. Everyone in the Department got together to reminisce on old as well as new memories.

Siva joined NUS in 1971 as part of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and was transferred to the ISE Department in 1972. He has since been attached to the Metrology Laboratory, which he fondly refers to as his second home.

ISE thanks Mr Sivalingam for his contributions to the Department, and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
