Abstract
This study presented a standard methodology and hybrid framework fro analysis and improvement of equipment performance to enhance stability and total operational effectiveness in oil&gas industry based on dependability indicators. To achieve these objectives, we developed two combined quantitative and qualitative multi-function approaches to pave a way toward providing insight on the equipment performance. The quantitative approach at first analyzed the performance of equipment through data extracted from OREDA in an off-line manner, to identify the critical pump and their fault through which the major hazards could initiate in the process. Then the qualitative approach was employed to understand the behavior of critical equipment in the process. The main idea was to identify failure mode from sensor data by fuzzy classification with expert knowledge to predict the aggregated fuzzy failure rate.
