Abstract
This talk would possibly cover the following topics
  1. Key risks facing manufacturers and logistics companies, such as demand variability especially for off-shore relationships at customer and geographic (macro) levels, product proliferation, shortened product lifecycles, and avian flu.
  2. Why ERP/APS systems fail to help companies cope with these risks.
  3. ODM (Optimization Decision Manager) scenario based planning, with focus on ODM pegging KPIs across different scenarios.
  4. Custom ODMS optimization for a specific case.

Biography
Mr. Jeff Kilbreth has over 20 years in the computer & software business (8 years at DEC, 15 years software). He obtained his BA and MBA from Yale University. He has significant experience in inventory planning and control for spare parts inventories (DEC, Applied Materials), and has been a Project Manager of ERP Selection, Applied Materials. He is also the manager of Business Process Re-engineering at Applied Materials from 1991 to 1993. He is responsible for Product Management of CRM products in Aurum Software from 1993 to 1999. He is also responsible for Product Management of Blaze Software from 2000 to 2003. From 2004 till present, he is responsible for Product Management of ILOG’s Optimization Tools and Engines (ODMS) and Supply Chain Planning & Scheduling Applications.
