Discovering DFSS

Synopsis:

This workshop offers an overview of the strategic concepts and methodologies of Design for Six Sigma(DFSS). Powerful ideas that propel DFSS will be explained in a non-technical, non-industry specific language. The workshop will be conducted in an interactive manner, with liberal use of examples to illustrate the rationale and potential of DFSS. No prior knowledge is assumed.

Instructor:

T.N.Goh, PhD, PE, is Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore and an elected Academician of the International Academy for Quality. He has been active internationally in the past three decades in research, teaching and consulting in the application of statistical methodologies for excellence in quality, and is a certified Six Sigma instructor. A frequent invited speaker at professional and corporate meetings, Dr Goh has published extensively in his areas of expertise; he is currently on the editorial boards of Quality Engineering (of the American Society for Quality), International Journal of Production Economics, Quality and Reliability Engineering International, International Journal of Reliability, Quality and Safety Engineering, The TQM Magzine and others.
