Prior to joining NUS, Dr. Chai worked as a process engineer in a semiconductor multinational company and latter as a management consultant in an international consulting firm. In the semiconductor company, Dr. Chai was involved in quality management and technology transfer activities. As a consultant, Dr. Chai advised and provided intellectual inputs to knowledge management engagements to major multinational companies. These engagements include the development of a knowledge management process for capturing and reusing knowledge for a R&D center, and capturing customers requirements using Quality Function Deployment for a air-conditioner manufacturer.
